Welcome by ceallach-monster Welcome by ceallach-monster
Sooo... this was going to start out as a circus-themed picture, but then I went... "SCREW IT!" and drew random crazy, neon surrealism.

Flaming boar's head is a reference to Beatles "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite", which is sort of a circusy song... and talks about a hog's head of real fire.
And Reynard's mask is roughly (very roughly) based off of the masks in "Mirrormask".
And I love Edgar's vest. If I had that vest, I would totally wear it.

... my finger tips smell gross.

I really don't know why the sign says "Welcome." I guess it's called "Oh... I feel I need to put something in here." Still... it's not like much else here makes any sense.

Welcome by ~quaidezmaster "Man, I have put off featuring ~quaidezmaster here for too damn long already...And funky works of art like Welcome make me wonder even more why I waited. Featuring a glorious orgy of lovably striking neon colors, wicked character designs, a perfectly odd atmosphere, & this lovely feeling of chaos, intrigue, & wonder, this black velvet beauty is a twisted & fun piece of work that definitely deserves a nice chunk of praise...Much like everything else in this talented artist's gallery, so go check it out!" Well okay... it's not surreal in the traditional sense of being in the vein of the artistic movement that happened after Dada and was influenced by the Freudian examination of the subconsciousness, and produced such artists as Salvador Dali and artworks like Meret Oppenheim's "Luncheon in Fur" (which was a piece of art that focused on the Freudian idea of "fetishes", which are objects that a person has such an attachment that it replaces sexual desire).
Thank you for reminding me that my education in an art school and my classes in art history make me ignorant in anything that is Western art related.

I guess I'll just drag my furry neanderthal knuckles back to hell so that I can continuously yiff there from now until eternity.

Definition of surreal:
- dreamlike: resembling a dream
- Resembling a dream: fantastic and incongruous
- Surrealist works feature the element of surprise, unexpected juxtapositions and non sequitur often depicted in a very realistic style. A twist on reality

Looks pretty dreamy-fantasy-twisty to me. So in other words, it's surreal.

I must say, your comment seems somewhat surreal, hard to understand what spawned such a strong display.

I find that term extremely offensive... seeing as how I am a cyber furr (online only) and bi.
your either homophobic or don't know what your saying but it pissed me off you made yourself more ignorant sounding than the artist.
